New Year’s Eve at Georges
Spend the last night of the year on the promenade at King Street Wharf, with the harbour in front of you and a long Greek feast in the middle of the table.
The evening is a set menu served in courses.
Olives, pita and tarama start on the table, followed by oysters, prawns with mango salsa and Marie Rose, grilled octopus, and Metsovonio with quince and walnut.
Mains are served alternately, lamb gastra OR sea bass with lemon and dill, alongside tomato dakos with barley rusk, heirloom tomatoes and fetta.
Dessert is loukoumades with honey, ricotta and pistachio.
The adult ticket is $259 per person and includes a four-hour drinks package.
Teens are $129 and kids are $89, so the whole family can be at the same table when the year turns over.
