What to explore at Darling Harbour?

Each year, Georges is lucky enough to have a front row seat to the spectacular light shows all over Darling Harbour. This year our guests will be able to marvel at Australian National Maritime Museum installation (without even having to leave their table)

The best part is that all of these incredible offerings are free to enter AND are running everyday from 23rd May to 14th June.

Tunku and Ngaadi

Created by artist Cheryl Davison and brought to life through the voices of the Djinama Yilaga Choir, the rooftop of the Australian Maritime Museum will be transformed into a story of creation, love and loss. This timeless Dreaming story explores the eternal connection between the Moon and the Earth.

Samsung Space to Dream

Further along Darling Harbour, in the crest of Cockle Bay, rise three iridescent floating waterfalls – a canvas for spectacle like no other! This large-scale, interactive display is inspired by Galaxy AI, encouraging visitors to break free from everyday reality…and step into a world of endless possibility. The Vivid Organisers are calling Space to Dream a “must see highlight of the festival”.

Symphony of Light

This iconic light installation was created by ONGA Artful Light Company, led by Thai artist Dutchanee Ongarjsiri, and hopes to redefine the joy and spontaneity of childhood. This sculpture, using touch sensors and responsive LED systems, results in a space of pure movement and play.

“Step inside and let your dreams light the way.”

Drawn in Light

Ralf Westerhof, in collaboration with Light Art Collection, have brought Drawn in Light to Sydney to represent The Netherlands. This kinetic installation appears as a huge mobile, letting hand-drawn objects float above you as if turning on a breeze. This magical installation represents the idea that not all dreams need to be grand, sometimes the simplest ideas can inspire wonder.
