2025 is already in full swing! It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating New Year’s Eve with all our wonderful guests. Now, with April well underway, we’re gearing up for a vibrant and eventful month at Georges.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming up:
Greek Easter
This year, the Greek Orthodox Easter aligns with the Easter public holidays, giving us double the reason to celebrate! From April 18th to 21st, we’ll be introducing brand-new specials and exciting events.
Palm Sunday
After weeks of vegan fasting, Palm Sunday brings a welcome return to fresh seafood and vibrant plant-based dishes. Enjoy a limited menu by Chef Charles, featuring Mediterranean favourites from the sea and garden.
Join us this Sunday for a delicious nod to tradition. Don’t miss out—this exclusive offer is available for one day only!

Easter Sunday – A Celebration of Tradition
We’re thrilled to showcase some of our most treasured Greek Easter traditions. Guests will be welcomed with Tsoureki, a soft and slightly sweet braided bread, as well as a basket of iconic red eggs to play Tsougrisma—a fun egg-cracking game that brings luck for the entire year! Our restaurant manager, Michael, had the winning egg last year—ask him for some expert tips!
For the little ones (who prefer chocolate eggs), we’ll be hosting our very first Easter Egg Hunt throughout the restaurant.
Of course, no celebration is complete without an exceptional menu. We’ve curated an exclusive specials list to make your meal unforgettable.
From sizzling lamb to sweet braided bread, Easter on the harbour has never tasted better. Bookings recommended, walk ins welcome.
Anzac Day – April 25th
Anzac Day is a time for reflection and remembrance. Every year, Sydneysiders gather to honor the sacrifices of our brave veterans through commemorative services and the official Anzac March, which begins at 10:30 AM from Pitt St, Sydney. After a solemn morning, gather your loved ones at Georges for a meal rooted in authenticity and family values.
In special recognition of the battles fought by the Anzacs across mainland Greece, Lemnos & Crete, we will be highlighting our selection of Greek wines from these regions. Indulge in a Macedonian Kir-Yanni Naoussa Xinomavro from 2021, or a selection of Enotria bottles from Douloufakis Winery in Crete.
Join us Anzac weekend to experience unique Greek heritage at its finest.
See you then,
Yamas!
