2004 Olympic Games in Athens, I was working in the Thission Hotel at the time, great atmosphere, great customers and great $$$!

Mediterranean food, fresh and simple!

Favourite career highlight?
When I got promoted from Assistant Sommelier to Master Sommelier at Restaurant Kasteel, not bad for a 21 year old! Also getting sixth place at Best Sommelier of Belgium, just missed out on the finals!
Favourite Drink?
Posh drink: Chateau Phelan-Segur, St-Estephe, Bordeaux or a nice bottle of Greek red like Sigalas Mavrotragano, soft and smooth! Single Malt or Aged Rum matched with a nice cigar…Heaven!
Dream restaurant to visit?
I wouldn’t mind trying Noma in Copenhagen, it’s been chosen as one of the Best Restaurants in the world! Would like to see what all the fuss is about.
If I wasn’t in hospitality I would be…
