This past weekend, Georges Mediterranean was filled with the laughter of families, the clinking of glasses, and the wonderful aroma of Greek flavours as we celebrated Father’s Day on the harbour. With the sun shining down and the breeze just right, the day could not have been more perfect.
A Feast for Every Dad
Our kitchen prepared a menu designed to honour dads with the flavours they love most. Families shared generous platters of Mediterranean favourites, from vibrant salads to crispy chips, alongside our famous slow-grilled lamb. For those who wanted the full feast, we also served whole lamb platters designed for sharing, a true tribute to the spirit of togetherness that Father’s Day represents.
Greek-Inspired Cocktails
The celebration was not complete without a round of drinks. Our bar team mixed up some Father’s Day specials that quickly became crowd favourites. The refreshing Metaxa Paloma, with its bright blend of orange and hibiscus soda, proved the perfect sip for the sunny afternoon. For traditionalists, the classic Mimosa made an appearance, and each drink was carefully crafted to complement the menu and the occasion.

With clear skies above King Street Wharf and the water glistening beside us, guests relaxed into an atmosphere that was both festive and heartwarming. The weather truly set the scene, creating an idyllic backdrop for a day dedicated to family, celebration, and unforgettable memories.
